I am trying to classify a set of points based on a polygon shape file.  Everything seems to work excpet that after I select the Classify button, the claasification does not change.  I have used this before and it worked great, so I am not sure what I am doing differently now, and if anyone else has run into a similar problem.

The most common mistake here is that the file(s) is not open for read/write. To check and to change, go to the LAS file tab. If open for read/write the lock icon will be displayed in green, if not the lock is displayed in red. To open the file or files for read/write right click on the file or files and select Open for Read/Write. In order to open for read/write you will need to have a classify license.
